1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy defines prohibited uses of the Invoco Restaurant POS service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited
Engaging in any of these activities may result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.
Illegal Activities
You may NOT:
- Engage in or facilitate any illegal activity under Singapore law or applicable jurisdictions
- Process payments for illegal goods or services
- Launder money or engage in financial fraud
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation
Payment Fraud and Evasion
You may NOT:
- Manipulate transaction amounts to evade fees, taxes, or payment processing charges
- Process fraudulent payments or initiate chargebacks without valid reason
- Split transactions to avoid payment limits or regulatory requirements
- Use the Service for money transmission without proper licensing
- Accept payments for goods or services unrelated to your restaurant
Menu Fraud and Misrepresentation
You may NOT:
- Publish false, misleading, or deceptive menu descriptions
- Misrepresent prices, portion sizes, or ingredients
- Fail to disclose allergens as required by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA)
- Advertise prohibited items (e.g., alcohol without a license, tobacco, illegal drugs)
- Use misleading images or descriptions that don't represent your actual dishes
System Abuse
You may NOT:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other restaurant accounts
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to extract data without permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Overload or disrupt the Service infrastructure (DoS/DDoS attacks)
- Circumvent security measures, access controls, or authentication systems
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
Data Misuse
You may NOT:
- Access or attempt to access other restaurants' data or customer information
- Use customer data for purposes beyond order fulfillment (unless explicit consent is obtained)
- Sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties
- Violate Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) when handling personal data
- Collect or store customer payment card details (full card numbers, CVV, etc.)
Abusive Behavior
You may NOT:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse Invoco staff, support teams, or other users
- Post offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or hateful content
- Impersonate another person, business, or entity
- Engage in behavior that damages Invoco's reputation or violates community standards
3. Enforcement Actions
Violations will result in one or more of the following enforcement actions:
Minor Violation (First-time offense)
Warning via email; corrective action required within 7 days
Examples: Late payment, minor menu inaccuracy, outdated pricing
Moderate Violation
Temporary account suspension (7-30 days) until issue is resolved
Examples: Repeated menu fraud, system abuse attempts, missing allergen disclosures
Severe Violation
Permanent account termination; legal action if applicable
Examples: Illegal activity, payment fraud, PDPA violation, security breach
4. Investigation Process
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations. This may include:
- Reviewing account activity, transaction logs, and menu content
- Contacting you via email for clarification or additional information
- Temporarily suspending your account pending investigation
- Cooperating with law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law
5. Appeals Process
If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal the decision by emailing [email protected] within 14 days.
Include in your appeal:
- Your account details (email, restaurant name)
- Explanation of the circumstances
- Evidence supporting your appeal (if applicable)
We will review your appeal and respond within 30 days.
6. Reporting Violations
If you believe another user is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us:

We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action within 14 days.
7. Cooperation with Authorities
We cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in Singapore and other jurisdictions. We may disclose your account information if:
- Required by law, court order, or subpoena
- Necessary to investigate illegal activity or fraud
- Required to protect our rights, safety, or property
- Necessary to protect the safety of others
8. No Liability for User Actions
Invoco is not responsible for:
- Actions taken by restaurants or staff using the Service
- Menu content, pricing, or business practices of individual restaurants
- Disputes between restaurants and customers
- Violations of this policy by third parties
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be notified via email. The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
